'Roid Rage

Fri Sep 4, 2009, 7:04 AM
Finally got those polaroids scanned (a good 36+). I have more polaroids coming in the mail (hopefully soon), that I'll be shooting through my straight-from-the-70's Polaroid SX-70. It's a glorious piece of photographic equipment, I can't wait. :)

Still have got a bunch of film to scan from vacation....that was about 3 months ago. *Lazy*

Picked up an original Diana from the camera store, I was pretty stoked. Still waiting for the test roll I shot through it.

Ugh

Mon Jul 6, 2009, 9:02 PM
I've got a LOT of film to scan... need to sit down one day and do that...

Highlights:

-Got a polaroid 600 LMS and some 600 film, pretty sweet stuff.

-Received a Lomo LC-A+ and a Holga 120N for graduation from mi madre

-Getting a new Diana F+ today, and bought a hefty, expensive Mamyia C330 TLR... Much film to shoot now...

Edit: OMFG I've forgotten how much I love black and white photography, I got caught up in this storm of colors and cross-processing that I forgot what brought me to photography in the first place.

Fisheye Camera & Film Scanner

Wed May 27, 2009, 5:56 PM
I recently bought a Fisheye camera that has an incredible 170 degree view of the world. It can focus at about 4 inches to infinity, the extreme wide angle can distort any objects, straight lines will bend, shapes change, etc. It is so much fun, its the most adorable little camera ever. Yay for circle pictures!

Also, bought a film scanner. Guess who doesn't have to pay for prints anymore. That's right. This guy. It'll pay for itself in the long run. Its a nice little thing.

Cross-processing

XPRO FTW!!
Will upload my favorites tonight, the colors are SWEET.

Edit: Wooooo! The results are fun, the colors are great, and I don't think that I've ever been more anxious to get pictures back from the developer. I have one more roll to shoot and according to various sources on the internet, it should turn green. I've got red and blue/green so I can't wait to see what this roll turns out to be!

Edit PS: WOO 3,ooo PAGEVIEWS!

FED 2 & Redscale photography

Sun May 3, 2009, 5:16 PM
WOO! This camera rocks! Its the soviet copy of a Leica and it it absolutely fun to use! I took all of the new photos with it and they turned out great; all of my adventures with my Diana+ helped me forget what a crisp clean negative looked like. Also, the new pictures were done with redscale photography. This is when you take the film out of the canister and load it back in reversed. The light goes through the red filter on the back and can give everything a red/yellow/orange/magenta look, just depends on what kind of film you have.
